NCBA Partners with Salvador Caetano Kenya to Expand Vehicle Asset Financing Access in Kenya

Salvador Caetano Kenya

NCBA has entered into a partnership with Salvador Caetano Kenya Limited to roll out a structured Asset Financing Scheme aimed at widening access to vehicle ownership for individuals, SMEs, and corporate clients across Kenya.

The programme introduces financing of up to 100% for personal vehicles and up to 95% for commercial units, alongside repayment periods of up to 84 months and reduced processing fees. It will cover a range of passenger, commercial, and electric vehicles sourced from brands including Hyundai, Kia, Ford, JMC, and Chery. The collaboration positions NCBA within Kenya’s growing vehicle financing market at a time when demand for flexible ownership models continues to rise, particularly among businesses managing logistics and fleet expansion costs.

Structured Financing Push across Passenger and Commercial Segments

Under the NCBA–Salvador Caetano Kenya Asset Financing Scheme, customers will access tailored financing options designed for different mobility needs, ranging from private car buyers to transport operators and corporate fleets.

The scheme’s coverage includes passenger vehicles, commercial units, and electric vehicles, with financing structures aligned to income profiles and business cash flow cycles. The 84-month repayment window is expected to provide extended flexibility for borrowers managing long-term asset investment decisions. The participating brands under the NCBA-Caetano Kenya programme include Ford, Kia, Hyundai, Renault, JMC, and Chery, expanding the available portfolio across utility, logistics, and passenger mobility segments.

NCBA Focus on Structured Asset Finance Expansion

NCBA Group said the partnership is designed to strengthen access to structured mobility financing through collaboration with an established automotive distributor network. Lennox Mugambi, NCBA Group Director, Asset Finance & Business Solutions, said the partnership is centred on customer-focused financing models.

“At NCBA, we believe in the power of partnerships to ignite belief and empower ambitions. This collaboration with Salvador Caetano Kenya Limited places customers at the centre of practical, flexible financing solutions that make vehicle ownership more accessible today and into the future.”

NCBA’s asset finance segment has increasingly targeted SMEs and corporates seeking fleet expansion solutions without heavy upfront capital commitments, a segment that continues to drive demand for structured lending products in Kenya.
