
Absa Bank has inaugurated a new branch in Rupa’s Mall, Eldoret, marking its 85th branch in Kenya. This new branch, the second in Eldoret, will provide a full range of services, including transactional accounts, savings accounts, deposit accounts, Shari’ah-compliant solutions, and financial advisory services. It aims to serve the growing consumer and business markets in Eldoret and nearby areas, offering services such as forex exchange, money transfer, bill payment, and digital banking.
Additionally, Rupa’s mall branch will serve the expanding consumer and business markets in Eldoret and its surrounding areas. This expansion aligns with Absa Bank’s broader strategy to enhance its customer-focused approach by increasing its physical presence and utilizing digital technologies.
Absa Bank’s Managing Director and CEO, Abdi Mohamed, highlighted the bank’s dedication to improving customer experience and reaching underbanked populations. Mohamed emphasized the importance of extending banking services to the thriving business sector in the Rift Valley.
