Safaricom Ethiopia has announced a major expansion of its network coverage in the Somali Region, now bringing 4G connectivity to Gode, Kebridehar, Kebribeya, Degehabur, Wajale, Awbare, and surrounding areas.

Beyond providing connectivity, Safaricom Ethiopia has made Digital Financial Services a priority through the rollout of M-PESA. The digital payment service has seen high adoption rates across the Somali Region, making it one of the most widely used financial tools in Ethiopia.
